The Chick Counter combines chick sexing, classification and counting into one operation. The Chick Counter System is a precision computerized device that will increase processing efficiency in sexing, counting accuracy and reduce the handling stress on day-old chicks.

CHICK COUNTERS CAN HAVE UP TO 16 STATIONS

Each chick Counter Station is Composed of:

One Micro Processed controller that registers the following data:
Total straight run chick count per hatch and per month.
Total male and female count per hatch and per month.
Total male and female count in each station per hatch and per month.

Each Station is composed of:

Two chick sorting ducts made from AISI-304 stainless steel
Two optical sensors that count the chicks
One station control box with:

A buzzer to indicate that a chick box has the correct number of chicks;
Push buttons with a red light (males) and a green light (females) that light up when the correct count has been reached. The light and buzzer are disarmed and the box counter recycled when the button is pushed
