Wings sold its first Avi-Jector vaccinator to Perdigão, a major Brazilian poultry producer, in 1983. At that time, Brazil was on its way to becoming one of the world’s largest poultry producers and could no longer depend on the importation of hatchery equipment to serve its needs. Wings was there to fill the need. Today, 99% of the Brazilian hatcheries have Wings equipment.
The Wings’ line of hatchery equipment has grown through the years, and what began as adaptations of imported equipment have been improved beyond the original models. Development is not limited to any single department within Wings and creative solutions are the rule for product improvement and new equipment.
In 2000, Wings manufactured its first DustControl system, helping Corn Products of Brazil qualify for ISO 14000 in one of its factories. Since then, it has installed more than 80 DustControl systems in Brazil, the United States, Chile and Ecuador. Its best supporters have been its customers and the government environmental control agencies.
The goal of Wings is to supply equipment that is innovative and of high quality that will increase the client’s operational efficiency. |
